Privacy Policy

This policy describes the data handled by the TechSathi application and the choices available in your account.

Last updated:

Account information

We store your name, email, hashed password, account settings and optional profile photo. Favorites, processing history, saved documents and account support requests are associated with your account. Saved document content is encrypted using the application key.

Uploaded and generated files

Server tools use uploaded files for the requested operation. Uploads use temporary server storage. Generated results use private storage, require the owning account and a signed link, and expire after 24 hours. Scheduled cleanup removes expired result files; expired download access is blocked even before cleanup finishes.

Processing on your device

Browser PDF rendering and OCR use your device. English and Hindi OCR assets are hosted with the application. Exported browser results are submitted to private server storage to appear in history. Saved PDF editing sessions remain in that browser and can be cleared in the editor.

Messages and security records

The contact form stores your name, email, subject and message in the administrator’s inbox for up to 180 days. Member support requests remain associated with the account. Sign-in records include time, IP address and browser details and are pruned after 90 days. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.

Why information is used

Account data supports sign-in, verification, password recovery and workspace features. Files are used to create the output you request. Contact details help handle your inquiry. Operational records help investigate misuse and service failures.

Service providers and optional services

Hosting and configured email delivery services process the information required to operate the site. Google sign-in, when enabled, uses the basic profile and verified email needed for authentication. Google Analytics and AdSense load only if configured and you allow optional cookies. Their providers apply their own policies.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies support sessions and CSRF protection. Browser storage remembers theme and consent choices; PDF editing sessions use IndexedDB. The Cookie Policy explains how to reset optional consent and clear local editing data.

Your choices

Export account information from Account settings. Remove individual results or saved documents, or delete a member account. Use the contact form for questions or requests you cannot complete in your account. We may need to establish that a request concerns your own data.

Backups and retention limits

If the operator maintains host backups, removing live records does not immediately rewrite an existing backup. Backup retention and recovery depend on the hosting arrangement. Do not use TechSathi as the only storage location for important files.

Changes and contact

The revision date appears on this page. Material changes to how the application handles data should be reflected here. Contact TechSathi with questions about the information described in this policy.
