  1. Open a PDF or restore a saved browser editing session.
  2. For existing text, choose Edit existing text, select a text run, enter the replacement and apply it. Add or organize objects and pages with the other controls.
  3. Inspect every changed page, then choose Save & download PDF. A browser session is not a substitute for a downloaded backup.

Before you start

  • The editor supports up to 50 pages and 250 annotations. Standard-font text and usable ToUnicode mappings are supported; scans, outlined glyphs and text inside Form XObjects need OCR or the original document.
  • Replacement retains position and font size but uses a compatible font. Long text can overlap nearby content. Added overlays are not secure redaction.
  • Existing form fields must be explicitly flattened before duplicating or deleting a form page. You can undo flattening before exporting.

Generated files expire after 24 hours. Keep a copy of important results. Read the help guide or report a problem.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Choose files from your phone and use the same options. Larger documents work best on a desktop.

Can I edit existing PDF text?

Choose “Edit existing text”, select a text run, enter your replacement and apply it. Supported digital PDF text is replaced inside the document. Scans require OCR; text inside unsupported embedded objects needs the source document. Added shapes and images remain overlays. This editor does not provide secure redaction.
